- Regardless of the history of PageStream and whatever frustrations users
- have had with the product, I have the upmost respect for Michael Loader
- and the way he continues to support Soft-Logic's customers. On a daily
- basis Michael's messages can be seen on several online services including
- this newsgroup, Compuserve, and Genie. When I compare his level of
- support with that of companies that make big bucks off of Mac and PC
- software, I am really amazed.
-
- Michael is paid by Soft-Logic so it must follow that they both share the
- same commitment to support their users. It would be nice if Amiga
- developers could afford the luxury of having many programmers on staff to
- churn out significant upgrades on a timely basis. This just isn't the
- case though. In a perfect world, along with many other things, everyone
- would own an Amiga and all programmers would be Amiga developers. From
- direct experience trying to stay in business as an Amiga developer my vote
- of confidence must go to Soft-Logic. If they were trying to be
- fraudulent, they would have collected the upgrade money for PageStream 3,
- withdrew it from the bank, and quickly gone out of business.
